NAHL Tender Announcement

Sioux Falls, SD - The Sioux Falls Jr Stampede AAA Tier 1 Program is proud to announce that 2000 born Defenseman, Nathan Mutschelknaus of Brandon, South Dakota, has signed an NAHL tender with the Minnesota Wilderness.

Mutschelknaus (6’0/180), who began his Tier 1 career on the inaugural Jr Stampede 14U team four years ago, has 13 points and is +14 through 23 games this season. During the ’16-’17 season, Nathan posted 52 points in 51 games and played an integral role in the Jr Stampede 16U team earning a birth to their first ever 16U National Tournament appearance.

“Nate has stepped into our lineup as a first year U18 player and has had a tremendous impact.  Every coach is looking for the ‘modern day defensemen’ and the Minnesota Wilderness will be getting exactly this.  His ability to move the puck, quarterback the power play and lead from the backend have been a big reason for our early success. The Minnesota Wilderness are getting a great asset in a young man, student and hockey player,” says 18U Jr Stampede Head Coach Dan Houck.

The Jr Stampede is a Tier 1 AAA hockey program based out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota that currently has Tier 1 teams at the 14U, 16U & 18U levels.
