Sioux Falls, SD - The Sioux Falls Jr Stampede AAA Tier 1 Program is proud to announce that 1998 born Defenseman, Chase Davidson of Menomonie, Wisconsin, has been drafted 90th overall by the Johnstown Tomahawks of the NAHL.
Davidson becomes the fifth player from the ’16-’17 Sioux Falls Jr Stampede 18U team to advance to Junior A hockey.
Davidson, a 6’4.5”, 205 pound forward, had 6 goals and 13 assists in his one season with the Jr Stampede.
"Chase had a fantastic second half of the season for us. It was a bit of an adjustment early, but Chase grew leaps and bounds from the beginning of the season. He took advantage of every opportunity he had here in Sioux Falls and played very well at Nationals,” said Head Coach, Dan Houck.
Coach Houck added, “Chase is a big, smooth, mobile defenseman who has a very high developmental ceiling. He can skate and with his size, makes him formidable to play against. Johnstown loved his game at Nationals and I am sure will only appreciate it more a member of their team. Johnstown is getting a great person and not only an excellent hockey player."
