    Jr Stampede Hires Scott Arneson as 14U Head Coach

    Sioux Falls, SD—The Sioux Falls Jr Stampede Hockey Club announces the hiring of Scott Arneson as 14U Head Coach for the 2018-19 season.

    The Sioux Falls Jr Stampede Hockey Club is pleased to announce the hiring of Scott Arneson as the new Jr Stampede 14U head coach.  Scott Arneson began coaching hockey over 28 years ago in West Fargo, ND after returning from playing hockey in Oulu, Finland.  Scott has coached boys and girls hockey at all levels from mite through high school in positions including Head Coach, Co-Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Development Director, and Power Skating Director.  Scott has worked with Red Wing, Crosby-Ironton-Aitkin, Faribault, and West Fargo hockey associations.  Scott has also worked with the Iowa Jr. Wild, Kansas City Jr. Mavericks and Shattuck St. Mary’s Tier 1 organizations.  He has additional experience having coached AAA and AAU hockey teams including teams at Minnesota Made in Edina, Minnesota for the past nine years and coaching teams associated with the Machine, Miracle Gold, and Reebok Nationals.  Scotthas worked at various camps and clinics at Minnesota Made, Full Speed, Xperience, Reebok, and the Power Hockey Academy (PHA) out of Toronto, Canada.

    “The Jr Stampede is very fortunate to have someone with Scott’s personal integrity, experience, and hockey knowledge join our staff.  His ability as a coach and experience will undoubtedly benefit the players on our U14 team.  I’m truly excited to see their development under his leadership," said Jr Stampede General Manager, Matt Tobin.
